Sharing for our friends at @tacuna.project

The TACUNA project invites you to join us for a wellness circle this month with Kalee Salazar (Taos Pueblo/Santa Ana Pueblo) who will talk about her experience working with Native American youth and elevating their voices. The title of the presentation is “Representation is Wellness,” and will focus on why it is important to engage and foster youth voices.

Kalee Salazar has a passion for working with Native American youth and developing youth leaders. She has helped youth lead projects in Colorado and New Mexico and has experience working with Native American tribes and organizations. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado – Boulder where she was born and raised. She is an enrolled member of Taos Pueblo as well as Santa Ana Pueblo and Chicana. Kalee builds her home and raises her son in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
